Ben Brabson is a climate scientist, an emeritus professor of physics at Indiana University and chair of the Creation Care Committee at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bloomington, Indiana. Creation Justice is a logical extension of his professional work in climate change mitigation. As a climate scientist with research interests in extreme temperatures, he is able to clarify the close connection between the science of climate change and the impact of these changes on humanity. Pope Francis eloquently connects humanity’s changing climate with its impact on the poor.
The Episcopal Church is a founding member of Creation Justice Ministries, and continues to be among its most active contributors. Recent examples of joint activities include advocacy with the Gwich'in people to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from drilling and raising awareness on Capitol Hill regarding the Episcopal Church's delegations to international climate negotiations.
Creation Justice Ministries greatly amplifies the effectiveness of its 38 member denominations as it guides people of faith toward justice for all of God’s creation. It is for this reason that Ben Brabson requests that you consider a donation to Creation Justice Ministries.
Donation will repeat monthly.
